Urgency of Life
Life's urgency is death — and that's not as bleak as it sounds. Through the lens of death, fear loses its grip and we get clarity on what's actually worth chasing.
The urgency of life is death. When we see life through the lens of death, every form of fear will dissipate, and we will be left with the true importance of life.
If the old was the new, then the new will definitely become the old sooner or later. Many things that life throws at us seem important, but only a few truly are — because the filter we use also gets dirty over time. We end up affecting the whole system.
Who are we really? Is it what we are now, or what we become?
Death is the only best motivator, but many people want to take its place. Everyone came to meet death, and you will fall for its sake. Many have fought it, but few were able to stand it. Whether you win or lose is not the measure of your existence on earth. What have you been able to accomplish? Was it successful? And was that success a fulfilling one?
Because what is a success to you might not be a success to me. We can succeed at many things, but not all of them are fulfilling. Death is not the tester of fulfillment — it is an eye-opener that helps us chase what is truly fulfilling, not what we classify by ourselves as success.
The energy we have today must be replenished tomorrow. And replenishing will never feel the same — it depends on the time and season we find ourselves in.
As time goes on, death patiently waits for every man. But are we working towards fulfillment to minimize regret? Regret with little or no energy means no going back to make changes. Now is the day we have, and energy is the resource we must replenish for work.
What then shall we get after sailing the ship in the wrong direction? Since we are the captains of our lives, we will one day have to give account to the owner of the ship. Though our magnitude has been covered, if it's not geared in the right direction, we'll miss the destination.
Death is my motivator, and nothing motivates better than that. When you feel like stopping, remember: you will one day die.
When all hope, strength, motivation, and passion are lost — remember once again that you will one day die. So rise up again and do what you need to do. No one actually cares.
If you need to program or code and feel tired, remember: death is the motivator. And it motivates better than anything.
Above all else, you need inspiration. My greatest inspiration is the Word and Spirit of God. The more you know God, the more you know yourself and the power you possess.
Many things are available to us, but to *know* them is the problem. Being open and always ready is the ability of a world conqueror.
